Dear Diary

Here are two occasions this week that almost made me cry:

And here's some random unfinished idea for.. something?

  1. aww! i woulda cried a little. so the one on the top left reminds me of 1st grade when we had "game day"--a day when everyone was told to bring in a board game for fellow students to play. i brought Old Maid, and nobody wanted to play it (surprise!!). So i sat there at my Old Maid station, alone, waiting for someone to come up to my Garfield-themed cards and want to play them with me, but no one ever did (everyone was too busy playing with Candyland and the weird play-do machine). when my mom came to pick me up that afternoon, i was in tears. aww.

    1. awee you are so sweet! I had a similar experience with checkers. but it's not as good of a story as yours. Garfield is the best, they don't know what's good. they just want drugs and violence, these philistines.
how do you play "old maid"? (I have a feeling life is about to answer this question for me, but nevermind that...)

  2. hah! you and me both. i don't remember how to play Old Maid to be honest. I think it's something like Go Fish, but there's an Old Maid card that you try to avoid? And in this particular pack of cards Odie was "Old Maid," and he was dressed up with a bonnet and a shawl. he looked concerned and confused. that's all i remember
