bjork et al
because some days you just need to draw bjork.
next two are merce cunningham, then merce cunningham dancers. bottom is stills from Audrey Hepburn's Funny Face. I like the magazine editor (the bangs/bouffont and the hat)
AND: it's been far too long since the last post!

Books are pertty
I was loitering around the Knight library today, and I was loving these little book-combos I was seeing. Made me think of you (some definite Jenna colors there, especially the 7th image). Hope you like!

blog dump
I liked that Russian dude-writer on your blog. I drew him:
Here are some drawings I drew, a few years ago... Lisa Frank lovin':
Proof that Santa is real. (And is actually a dog, who snores and lives in a small house, real close to you. ?):
Here's that weird Droste Effect drawing I mentioned to you. It's a guy proposing to a girl, where next to the ring is a little guy proposing to a little girl, above which is the picture of a guy proposing to a girl...
I don't think about wedding rings or marriage these days, but apparently I did when I was 5.
Did you take these cold assessment tests when you were growing up in Israel? I was digging through my keepsake box the other day, looking for that drawing (the one above), and found this. It's one of those assessments they do, to see if you're mature and smart enough to start school. I've been watching the UP series, and it has me thinking about that quote, "Give me the boy at 7, and I will show you the man." (In this case, it's a girl, and it's me, at 4.) Reading this assessment, it sounds like I'm pretty much the same as I was when I was 4..."At times she used her fingers to answer questions which is a younger behavior," um I still do that, "She seemed quite shy. She wiggled in her chair and played with her shirt. She also sat sideways in her chair looking at the examiner." um, yup...
The best part: "On the incomplete man Jenna scored 5-5 1/2 (years). She completed most of the parts and added a few extra such as shoes and arms." Hehe :)

An Existential Moment at the Goose Pond
I have a lot of these moments. I should write them down/sketch them more often, the world is missing out on my profoundness.
